Carol Hobbs

Carol Hobbs has worked in the media space for 18 years. Hobbs first official media career started in 2006 at Kasi FM. 6 Months later, Johannesburg’s biggest community radio station, Jozi FM snatched from Kasi FM. She has gone from pillar to post to make sure she is seen in her industry. Doubled on a online radio station called, Rhythm100radio. Inbetween that she  adventured in the hospitality industry.

Obtaining marketing skills as well as assist in the public relations of other small company’s. She worked for Southern Sun as a customer consultant doing bookings and customer servicing. 2018, Radio called again but this time, it was in an unfamiliar geographic territory. She got headhunted by North West Fm. Joined North West’s only commercial radio station, which converted toYou FM, she gave them 4 years of her career span. The blessings, positive challenges and lessons of being the stations FIRST Female prime time host and weekend shows lead presenter.
